Grand Island, Nebraska has always been a great sports community. The Greater Grand Island Sports Council was formed in 2007 and has quickly moved forward in creating a responsive, streamlined approach to attracting amateur sporting competition to the city—and making them successful on every level.
The Greater Grand Island Sports Council is comprised of committed community leaders who are true sports fans. In fact, many members of the council are “champions” for their particular sport—so you will likely have a passionate local advocate for your event who understands your expectations and will work to make sure Grand Island is by your side, every step of the way.
